Ayurvedic science gives immense importance to digestive Fire -Jatharagni and considers the imbalance of the Agni to be the root cause of all the problems. Proper maintenance of the Agni is very important to protect the balance of the Doshas (bio-energies), Dhatus (body tissues) and Mala (waste products). We find that the digestive system gets disturbed so frequently and most of the people suffer from some or the other digestive issue. Proper understanding of the digestive tract is the goal of this workshop, and it will help us to decide the right approach towards proper management of the Jatharagni.

Dr. Shreejit completed his Bachelors in Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery in 2014 from the College of Ayurveda and Research Centre, Pune. He also secured First Rank in the PDEA (Pune District Education Association) in 2014. Since 2017, he has been working closely with various schools in Rishikesh to share his rich knowledge of Ayurveda.
He holds the meritorious certificate of Advanced Panchakarma Course for Kerala Speciality Therapy and Panchakarma with Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Foundation under Ashtavaidya Tradition. He is the Founder of Anahata – The Ayurveda Kutir. It is the only authentic ayurveda centre in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, with the presence of an expert Ayurvedic Doctor. With his expertise in Ayurveda medicine, he has contributed greatly to the field of Ayurveda treatment and training.
